DAEGU BRANDING ANAMORPHIC MEDIA ART

This work harmoniously blends the city's historical significance and contemporary vibrancy, showcasing Daegu's allure and diversity through immersive media art. It begins with a symbolic train arrival, leading to a virtual exploration of Daegu's iconic historical landmarks.

Visitors traverse pivotal cultural sites—Donghwa Temple, Daegu Hyanggyo, Okyeonji Songhae Park, and Hamokjeong—representing the profound historical legacies of Silla, Gaya, and Confucianism, celebrating centuries of cultural evolution.

Transitioning to the modern landscape, it highlights Daegu's contemporary charm through landmarks like the 'Eunsan Observatory,' 'Palgongsan Cable Car,' 'Diak Cultural Center,' and 'Dongsung Ross Park,' symbolizing the city's global growth.

Central to this work was the use of an anamorphic 3D video medium, vividly portraying Daegu's essence. It aims to engage viewers by showcasing Daegu's history and modern culture directly. The concept offers a virtual day trip, with bilingual names for an inclusive experience of Daegu's allure.
